Big VFD for the spindle, little feller for the coolant pump. The original plan was to run the coolant pump from a home-brew static converter, but the 1/4 HP Mitsubishi inverter was only $45 on ebay, takes up less space, and allows adjusting coolant flow with a pot next to the pump ON/OFF switch.
